Free Workshop
SCORE Returns to Roane State Crossville Campus
The RSCC Innovators Club along with the Cumberland Business Incubator
(CBI) would like to welcome the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE®)
back to the Roane State Crossville Campus.
A workshop will be held Thursday February 28, 2008 in the Roane State
Conference Room at the Cumberland County Higher Education Center in Crossville,
TN. The workshop will begin at 12:00 pm and end at 2:00 pm. SCORE representatives
will be available to answer questions after the workshop. Light refreshments
will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch.
Dana Peterka, Chairman of the Greater Knoxville SCORE Chapter, a volunteer
organization of retired and working business executives, will be presenting
a workshop entitled, "Grow the Profitability of Your Existing Business".
Local SCORE counselor Don Griffin, who has significant business turn-around
experience, will join Mr. Peterka. The workshop topics will be "Improving
Your Competitive Strategy" and "Understanding Your Costs".
Future entrepreneurs and existing business owners are encouraged to attend.
Individuals interested in becoming a SCORE counselor are strongly encouraged
to attend.

A donation of one canned food item per attendee is encouraged. These canned
food items will be donated to local foodbanks. The Roane State Crossville
